I am writing to you as a part of a group of blind and partially sighted student volunteers, working alongside Thomas Pocklington Trust (TPT) to improve access to education for blind and partially sighted students. We would like to request a meeting with you to share our personal experiences within the education system and to discuss our ideas for addressing the challenges we face.

Many blind and partially sighted students encounter unnecessary barriers that limit their ability to fully participate and succeed in education.

These issues require urgent attention. With Vision Impairment (VI) education services under significant pressure, we believe it is crucial that the voices of students like us are included in conversations around SEND reform.

We are passionate about ensuring that these solutions are heard, understood, and implemented to create an inclusive and supportive education for everyone.
